Why is the CNESH List Important for Industry? 2  Health Authorities rely on HTA to guide investment decisions.  Health Authorities must invest where there are high unmet health needs.  Innovation and Value.  Choices must be made for all health technologies, not just drugs.  Programs (CDR, pCODR, PCPA) are more advanced in drug therapy, but decisions must span all health technologies.  CNESH provides this broad perspective to both decision makers and manufacturers.

3. Where does a Top-10 HT List Fit in Business Planning? 3  HT discovery and development aimed at creating value for unmet needs.  A top-10 List reinforces these aims.  A List provides a user/investor perspective.  Value in a list developed by an independent authority.  Development processes increasingly influenced by “Payers” perspective.

4. How can we Enhance the CNESH List Profile? 4  Not very well known, even across industries that are focused on HT development.  Need for a strong institutional anchoring (CADTH).  Need to move from Academia to Public at large.  Work with key and specialized press.  Formal collaboration with industry associations.
