ZSP service supports the application process for eligible applicants
Provide a framework to allow applicants to complete and generate their ZSP application form between 01 October and 31 December 2014
Establish and manage 10 facilitation centres across all nine provinces of the Republic of South Africa to aid applicants to submit their application and biometrics between 01 November 2014 till 30 April 2015.
Host a dedicated website for this programme.

Unique Reference Number (URN)
Step 9:- Identify the URN number and keep it handy.
Step 10:- Call the Contact Centre on “+27 (0) ” and choose to speak to an agent to schedule an appointment.
NO APPLICATIONS will be accepted at the centres without an appointment

24. Payment of Fees
DHA has stipulated a User Pay model for this project and the fees therefore include:
A fixed service fee of 800 Rand
A biometric clearance fee 70 Rand
Biometric clearance is not required for minors (below 18 years)
Payment fee for minors is R800
Payment fee for adults (18 years and above) is R870
For safety and security reasons the VFS Global centres will be a cashless environment
Each person is considered separately as an applicant and charged individually
Applicants can pay VFS Global service fee through, Credit or Debit card at the centre or Prepayment at Standard Bank branches.

Note:- Payments made through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) will not be considered as it is not the mode to payment offered by VFS.

Duly completed online form. Handwritten forms will not be accepted by Department of Home Affairs.
Applicants are requested to get original documents for verification while submitting photocopies for any visa / permit category

Appointment Letter Acknowledgement
Passport valid for no less than 90 calendar days at the time of application; A passport copy is required while submitting the application.
As per the permit category you apply for the following documents will be required

26. Preparations on the day of Appointment
Plan to arrive 10 minutes early at the ZSP Application Centre. Bring your appointment letter and documents, along with a valid passport
When you arrive at the Application Centre you will be required to submit your complete application and enroll your biometrics (fingerprints and photo)
Once the ZSP application process is completed you will be issued with an acknowledgment receipt. Please keep your receipt safe as you will require this to track your application and collect your decision.
Important note: You will not be able to submit further documents once your application has been submitted at the Application Centre. The documents that you submitted at the time you made your application will be the only documents that will be considered.

Collection of Decision
Collection of the application will happen at the VFS application center where the application is submitted.
Representative must provide an original Photo ID with an Authority Letter if collecting the decision on behalf of the applicant/s. The Authority Letter should clearly state the following: -
Name of the Representative collecting the decision.
Photo ID number of the Representative.
Applicant signature as signed on the application form and passport.
The Receipt provided during the application submission (photocopy not allowed) will be required in original.
Original passport will be required as applicant’s proof of identity and handing over of the visa label or refusal letter to applicants.
Processed applications will not be returned to applicants / representatives in case they fail to submit the original passport.
