Maine 2014/2015 Transmission Outages Changes to plan typically result in increased construction cost – Costs include overtime, additional contractor resources, expedited material, additional engineering and outage coordination resources, environmental mitigation, schedule and remobilization costs, permitting, etc. Outages that have the potential for significant impact to generators in 2014/2015 will be discussed – Long (greater than one week) duration outages – Significant potential generation constraints CONTAINS CRITICAL ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE INFORMATION – DO NOT RELEASE 9

CMP Outage Applications Central Maine Power had 1,400 outage applications in 2013 There have been 517 transmission (>34.5kV) and 185 sub- transmission (34.5kV) outage applications in 2014 The MPRP Project has submitted 975 outage applications for the project through March 19, 2014 The outages range in duration from a few hours to eleven months in length The MPRP team anticipates that there will be an additional 300 – 400 outages needed to finish the program CONTAINS CRITICAL ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE INFORMATION – DO NOT RELEASE 10
