4 BWD Bina Nusantara University 4 Organizing Files To organize your files: –Create a central folder or a directory to hold all the material that will be available at your Website. –Divide the central folder in a way that reflects the organization of your website. You may decide to create a separate folder for HTML documents, one of images, and one for other external files.

5 BWD Bina Nusantara University 5 Creating a URL When considering a host, there are a number of things to keep in mind: How much disk space will they let you have for your website? DO they offer technical support? Will they register a domain name for you? How fast is their connection to the Internet? This will determine how fast your pages are served to your visitors. Do they include dial-up access to the Internet? Will they let you run custom CGI scripts, FrontPage extensions, and other advanced features? Do they offer a web hit statistic service to let you know how many people have been visiting your site?
