Terminology ‣ Web page — a document that is made available through the internet (or intranet) ‣ Web browser — a software program that reads web pages ‣ URL (Uniform Resource Locator) — a website’s unique address ‣ Home page — the main page users see when they access a website ‣ Hypertext — any text found on a web page that is linked
