2. Background  The iPhone is a line of internet and multimedia enabled smart-phones designed and marketed by Apple inc. The iPhone functions as a camera phone, a portable media, and an Internet client (with e-mail, web browsing, and Wi-Fi connectivity) using the phone's multi-touch screen to provide a virtual keyboard in substitute of a physical keyboard.

3.  Invented on June 29, 2007 by a group of engineers in Apple. Steve Jobs is co- founder and CEO of Apple and takes full credit for the invention of the I-phone.  Consistency: chrome, glass, aluminum and plastic
