3 Mapping methodology 1 – Data collection - Household Survey  to conduct a living standards assessment of in selected communities and obtain socio- economic data - Rural Citizen Assembly Survey  to analyse the variation in living standards levels amongst the selected communities and within the districts 2- Indicators selection 2- Indicators selection to provide an assessment of the communities’ welfare in these areas: Demographic, Education, Economic, Health, Social Protection, Infrastructures and Environment 3- Thematic map creation 3- Thematic map creation to map human development in the communities and in the districts according to the selected indicator

The map shows that the coverage of water supply is not universal in Namangan, and it shows the communities with low (red) or without (white) access to clean piped water. (*) it should be noted that this map reflects the availability of water pipe but not the quality of the service provided.
