HISTORY OF THE IPAD The IPad was designed and developed by Apple in April, 2010, its primary purpose is for entertainment like videos, games, movies, web- browsing etc. When stores first started selling the IPad, they sold about 3 million in less than three months! At the end of 2010, Apple’s IPad covered more than 70 percent of all tablet computers sold in that year.

6. THE IPAD’S FUNCTIONS AND OS The IPad runs the same system as the IPhone and can run IPhone apps. Like the Iphone, the IPad also uses a touch-screen to control. The IPad will only run software that is found on the App Store.

7. RELEASE OF THE IPAD 2 The IPad 2 was released in March, 2011. With the release of the IPad 2, The IPad is now lighter, thinner, and faster than previous versions.
