7 Validation – upper secondary level A person who has not got a certificate of his/her knowledge might have them VALIDATED. You might have:  Learnt things on your own  Studied abroad  Old certificates that do not correspond to current demands

8 Validation – working life The knowledge and the competence you have acquired by practical work may also be validated. If you:  Have learnt things on your own  Have had tasks in your work in a specific area  have a certificate from apprenticeship or vocational training  have work experience from another country
