What will I be able to do?  Demonstrate familiarity with email systems  Understand the difference between email and CMC  Describe communications hardware and software  Author web pages with HTML and tools  Understand what makes a usable website  Perform effective Web searches in a business context and evaluate the value of the WWW

5. Learning approaches  A very practical style  A portfolio of work: –Use of a conferencing system –Critical report (e.g. a comparison of software packages that perform the same tasks) –An examination.
