8 Two Types: Health Care and Dependent Care To participate in either FSA for 2012, you must actively enroll during the Annual Open Enrollment period. If you had an FSA in 2011, you will need to re-enroll and designate a contribution amount for the 2012 plan year. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
