1. Fresno State Athlete Recruiting

2. Recruiting  We recruit by talent and personality.  The Athlete is allowed to take five official visits to any school of there choice  Coaches can only contact high school player their senior year  Coaches can only contact Junior College transfers their second year of college.

3. NCAA Rules  The student must have passing scores on their SAT’s with a grade point average of 2.0.  Junior College student’s must have 60 units completed with their AA degree.

4. Scholarships  Scholarships are given out at the beginning of every month.  Scholarships covers food, school, books, and housing.

5. Financial Aid  Financial Aid is available for all students that qualify.  Make sure to fill out the form in the financial aid office.

6. Incoming Junior College Students  Incoming Junior College students have only three years to play two seasons.  Junior College Students are recruited only to come in and play right away.

7. High School Students  High School Student have five years to play in four seasons.  Most high school athletes red shirt unless they are ready to play right away.

8. Campus Events  The Satellite Student Union holds many event such as dances, comedy shows, step shows, and other functions.  Fresno State also holds many sport events such as football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and tennis.

9. Save Mart Center  Save Mart Center is going to be the home of our boys basketball team,  Students will be able to get in free with student I.D.

10. Environment  The environment is great in the San Joaquin Valley.  The people are great and very supportive when it comes to sports.

11. Graduation  95% of the college student athletes graduate with their BA degree every year.  After the student is finished with school, we help them find jobs.

12. Tradition  The tradition is to keep the number for college student athletes graduating with their degree, and to keep a winning record.
