11. Will be asked if you completed your 2010 IRS income tax return. If completed, you will be given an opportunity to link your IRS data with the FAFSA using your FAFSA PIN. You have an opportunity to apply for a PIN at this point and use the same PIN to sign the FAFSA electronically. If you do not wish to link the data, skip this option…

12. Please note Help and Hints Box Depending on which IRS form you completed, the Help and Hints box will let you know which line to look at for your data

13. If you check on one of the boxes under additional information, you will be given another box to input the answer

14. You will answer questions regarding the student’s tax information next… Make sure you pay close attention to the bar that lets you know that you are in student’s or parent’s mode…

15. Both Student and Parent are ready to sign the FAFSA using their PIN number…and submit the FAFSA

16. You will receive a confirmation page once application is submitted…
