4. Dance Aids in the Development of Reading Skills Dance can play an important and active role in any school environment, with any grade level. 5. Multiple Intelligences According to Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, students learn in a variety of ways. For instance, some children are visual learners, some are audio learners, and some learn best from a hands-on approach.
