4 UA Web Banner Policy Level One Websites Colleges and Schools Non-academic departments Service units that are focused on external audiences Timeline: Three months

5 Level Two Websites Academic departments ABOR-designated research institutes, centers, bureaus and service and administrative units UA committees, organizations and official student organizations Timeline: Six months

6 Level Three Websites Websites for course description or curriculum Faculty bios & CVs UA sponsored conferences, symposia and exhibition websites All sites that are hosted on university web servers Timeline: nine months

7 Exceptions The following will not be required to use the UA Web banners: The University of Arizona home page Web-based applications and intranet sites – (examples: Webmail, Student Link, Employee Link, ArizonaMed ) Personal home pages Student clubs that are not officially recognized student organizations Conflicts with existing partnerships or collaborations

8 UA Web Banner Technical Requirements The UA Web banner is comprised of three components: 1. UA logo approved for Web use (the A-Line logo) 2. Banner color bar 3. Navigational link

9 The UA Web logo: Positions left of center Clickable and links to the UA homepage The Color Bar: Must extend across the entire width of a Web page, regardless of the screen resolution Must be one of the 5 color options Must be 42 pixels in height
