Customer Profile Synchronized Public Exhibits Goals: Easily synchronize multiple displays Affordable solution High quality video and images BrightSign Implementation: Public exhibit called “Invisible Work” at Triennial Apeldoorn 60 synchronized BrightSign HD600s project various aerial views of the Netherlands onto the floor for a 600sq meter display 3 additional HD600s power wall displays to complement the aerial views “There are several systems on the market, but none could do this job so perfectly as Roku’s HD600 – and within our initial budget estimate.” Han Klein Kranenbarg, Director of Hecla BV Visual Hardware Services, a distributor, and Hecla BV, a systems integrator, collaborated on a project to implement a synchronized public exhibit in the Netherlands. Their goals were to find a digital sign controller that would: Easily synchronize multiple displays together, be affordable and of course display the highest quality video and images. The implementation that BrightSign’s HD600 model was selected for, was a public exhibit called “Invisible Work” at Trienneial Apeldoorn a public exhibit that showcases landscapes, gardens and culture that ran for 100 days in late summer ending Sept 28th. Basically 60 BrightSign units were synchronized together with 1 as the master and 59 as slaves to project a 600 sq meter display projected onto the floor of the exhibit. Together these 60 units project various aerial views of the Netherlands. Also, an additional 3 wall display complement the aerial views with landscape views that match.
