3. HIV/AIDS Introduction: A guest speaker who has HIV/ AIDS comes to the school to talk to the class. Development: The children place anonymous questions in a box about the topic on a piece of paper. Closure: There is a discussion about the answers to the questions. The discussion can take place in a whole class, groupings or paired approaches.

4. HIV/AIDS Approaches: It depends on the age and class dynamic. The teacher will let the children decide which approach they would like. Children may prefer single sex or mixed gender groups.

5. HIV/ AIDS Option: the students can go to other schools to talk about what they learned as an extension activity.
