Sustainable Resources Board Resource Management Plan Production of Plan – primary aim for the Board Will feed into North East Strategy To be produced in two stages:  Short, promotional document by autumn  RMP – approximately 32 pages & annexes 14 th April Stakeholder Group workshop – scoped overall content for Plan & resolved key issues Board to discuss further – 10 th May

Sustainable Resources Board GIS Waste Mapping Tool Arising from Regional Waste Mapping Study – commissioned by Renew and undertaken by Arup Waste Mapping Report – information on waste arisings and available facilities GIS Tool – interactive portal for regional data Open tender – issued with deadline of 4 th May Board to discuss further – 10th May

6. Sustainable Resources Board Other Developments North East Commercial & Industrial Waste Survey – to be commissioned Five Task Groups established - will provide specific technical information & advice to assist the Board
