6. What those numbers mean? ● There are 3 sets of numbers labeled on CD- RW drives. ● 12X 4X 32X ● 1 st number 12X stands for Write Speed ● 2 nd number 4X stands for Re-Write speed (for CD-RW disks) ● 3 rd number 32X stands for read speed (what CD-ROMS do)
