2 Performance analysis is crucial. Ex.) Do you want to read a very thick book on the computer screen? What is problem? And what is the goal? Is e-learning a good solution to solve the problem? Learning in textbook could be the best solution. Before starting development process

3 Define learning objectives  Inform  Perform procedure  Perform principle Learning in text book might be better, but advanced technology could accelerate its effectiveness. Hands on training might be better, but simulation or role playing game could be much better (trade-off between cost & effectiveness) which platform should be suitable for?

4 Leverage media peculiarity  Internet  CD/DVD  Handheld device which platform should be suitable for? PROS & CONS analysis needed. Learners study… Where? What? What purpose? How? How often? Who study? Their current level?

5 Stick to accommodate human learning process Genuine and effective e-lessons might require from 10 to 20 times more labor and skill to create than traditional classroom materials. Do not neglect this process in order avoid failure. trade-off between cost & effectiveness

6 Think learner’s motivation in order to make them complete. Classroome-Learning *Captive audience *Live instructor stimulates attention *self-learning *diversity (difference of study time, their commitment, etc.) However, adding motivational elements may backfire.
