3 We are Impacted at the UD Transfer level Transfers must meet minimum requirements: – Completed 60 or more transferable semester (90 quarter) units – Golden Four (Will accept C-) Completed by the beginning of the term prior to enrollment. (For example, Fall Quarter applicants must complete these items by the end of the Spring term) – Minimum 2.0 GPA in non-impacted majors Local Service Area: – Contra Costa & Alameda Counties Admission Area: – Priority given to those within nine local Bay Area Counties – Those outside of the local admission area will be selected based on a slightly higher GPA ranking – All are encouraged to apply Students must meet all published requirements and document deadlines

4 Priority: October 1- November 30 Apply online at csumentor.edu Impacted Majors – Supplemental Application needed Nursing – GPA required: 3.0/Avg GPA 3.7 (on prerequisites of those accepted) – Avg TEAS 88% (Can take 2X) – 130 spots in Fall quarter only – Accepts international students – Meet prerequisites 1 year in advance; Transcripts (and TEAS test scores) due Feb. 14 Business – Must complete Business pre-requisites (Preferred completion by Spring if coming in Fall) – 10 year limit on Business courses – GPA 2.5

5 After application is processed students will receive the following communications: Application Confirmation Letter – Activate personal identification number, called a “NetID,” available at www.csueastbay.edu/netidwww.csueastbay.edu/netid – Misplaced your NetID? Contact (510) 885-2784 – Set up a CSU East Bay horizon email account to receive pertinent information If a student is missing required items: – Incomplete letter – CSU Mentor notification/check MyCSUEB Admitted Student Packet – Next steps for enrollment – Log on to myCSUEB to view “to do” list

6 Partial Documents Due: March 1 – Fall grades completed, Spring in-progress Final Documents Due: July 15 – Official final transcript with all admission required coursework completed Intent to Register – June 1 st priority deadline – No Deposit Needed Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) ―Will not be accepted for the Fall 2012 Quarter ―Highly encourage all students to still apply ―Dedicated enrollment counselors to assist students through admission process ―TAG program to be assessed annually (while impacted) and may return for a future Fall Quarter

7 Housing – 1296 beds – Accepts applications year round – Contracts are sent to students who submitted an application by June – Submit completed contract and initial housing payment of $800 by July 1 for guaranteed housing – Housing Themes: Co-Ed/ Gender Neutral apartments Orientation – Orientation is strongly encouraged On-ground or On-line and by college – Is the key to a successful transition

8 Rescinding Admission – Based on final transcript, student no longer meets the minimum requirements – If there are changes to an application, students can email: admissions@csueastbay.edu To Appeal – Rescinded students will be offered an opportunity to appeal with instructions via email/letter

9 Estimated Cost of Attendance Based on 2010-2011 Fees* Estimate is for a California Resident. Tuition is based on 12 units. Students are not required to live on campus. Meal plan costs vary depending on plan chosen.
