1 Team presentation Yayyy!!!

2 Who should attend This is your group presentation at the end of three marketing mini-projects and a marketing class. Everybody should attend for two reasons: – Showing support, respect – We need to determine the best groups so you want to fight for your presentation

3 Deliverables One hard copy of your presentation slides in NOTES format (in Microsoft power point click View and then Notes Page) The slides are due at the beginning of the presentation day 1. For all groups. This will assure fairness and/ will free up the later part of the semester for everybody.

4 Presenters One or two in your team. Dress business-casual Can bring stage props, printed ads, objects that may exemplify their points Can engage the class in their presentation

5 Duration 10-12 minutes including class Q and A. 10-12 minutes can mean somewhere between 9-15 slides. Introduction – make sure you introduce yourselves and your team mates to the class; – also introduce your topic (product).

6 Content Purpose: to integrate all three projects in the class We will do that by focusing on the SWOT matrix – And then relate all three assignments to SWOT

7 Content (2) Present the product you chose and it’s position in the product category – Current position, history, SWOT, competitors Present a summary of consumer usage information of products in the category (some of the most interesting quotes from your CB assignment) Select one interesting issue and explain it to class- focus on potential SWOT for a MM

8 Content (3) Present how your product is currently segmented Present how you segmented the market (from Assignment #2) Explain to class how having a different segmentation can benefit the company (again, relating to SWOT)

9 Content (4) Present product packaging Explain to class the strengths and weaknesses of the package Present your thoughts on how packaging can be used as leverage for the product (your ideas for redesign or support for current packaging)

10 End Thank the class and ask for questions. – At the end of class I will ask all participants to rate the best presentation so that it gets extracredit points – Questions?
