Each insect or disease is adapted to grow best over certain minimum temperatures and cease growth at its own maximum temperature. GDD is used to Predict when these pests/diseases are likely to show up in a given area Determine when to control pests/diseases Monitor landscapes for plant problems Single GDD

2 AgWeatherNet Single GDD The calculations of the GDD for a 24 hour period requires the following formula: (Max. temp + min. temp)/2 -(minus) base temperature=GDD

3 AgWeatherNet The Single GDD is a chart showing growing degree day (GDD) units with just the Base 50 Temperature. Single GDD Note: Be sure you have already selected your station and time interval before choosing this product.
