3. Add tasks Add the 8 tasks listed for making a cup of tea. Add the duration of each –Note: MS Project doesn’t expect seconds – change to hours

8. To arrange the schedule For bursts: –Select 2 or more tasks You need to hold down the CTRL button to do this. –Click the ‘start to start’ icon. For one task2 following task 1: –Select task 1 –Hold down CTRL button and select task 2 –Click the ‘finish to start’ icon –Note the change in start time / date of the dependent task.

9. To look at the results Using the view menu Choose gantt chart for calendar view. Use Network Diagram to look at the network diagram –Note, it will have fitted in non-critical tasks to run concurrently with the critical path. –The critical path is red.
