4 Federal 330 Funding (CHCs)  Federal funding is provided to subsidize services,  Health care is provided regardless of ability to pay,  A full range of primary care services including oral health care, mental health care and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses,  The Board of Directors must have a consumer majority,  Community health centers are covered under federal malpractice liability insurance.

5 CHCs  1,000 organizations,  5,000 sites,  15 million people,  Located in every state and Puerto Rico, Guam, the District of Columbian and the Virgin Islands.

10 Operating Financial Requirements  Health Access Team: $1.4M $400,000 balance to be raised annually to replace federal funding beginning September 2006
