3.  Who were his parents? Peta Piripoi Nepia (dad) and Riripeti Pirihi Aka (mum).  Did he grow up with his parents? No he grew up with his grandmother.  Did he have any siblings? No he is an only child.  What type of relationship did he have with his family? He had a troubled relationship because his parents split and George was going to Te Aute College then he went with his friends and went to Maori Agricultural school when his other school fees had not been paid.  Was he married? He got married to Huinga Raupani Kohere.They had 4 kids, 3 boys and 1 girl.

4.  Did he have any particular strengths? He was good at catching the ball,tackling and kicking.  Did he win any awards? He was selected as one of the top 5 rugby players of the year in 1924.

He moved to England in 1935 to play rugby league but that meant he had to move away from his family and that affected him.  Did he respond to these problems? He stayed in New Zealand and played rugby league for Manukau.
