5. Questions for Our Thought What is “culture”? What is the “culture of education”? – “Big culture” – common to all institutions – “Little culture” – in a specific place, institution How might technology interact with those forms of educational culture? What interesting questions can, should we ask about these things?

6. How Determinative is Technology? “Hard sense” – A technology causes things to happen; once it is in play, things cannot turn out otherwise “Soft sense” – A technology can shape or influence how things happen, but doesn’t by itself determine what will happen
