No extension of deadlines. Average homework and quiz scores each account for 10% of grade Any problems with grading must be reported via email within one week of grade being posted.

3. Turning point Audience response system. Purchase clicker or virtual device according to instructions on blackboard (course documents). Register device id through Participation bonus – Daily score: >70%  1 point 40-69.9 .5 points <40  0 points – At end of semester, percent of total points earned determines bonus – Turning point score in % * 3 percentage points = bonus – No device or class absence is 0 points. – Academic dishonesty to submit answers for someone else; to allow someone else to submit for you; or to submit answers when absent. – Start using devices on Thursday 8/26.

Grade Determination Two midterms: 25% weight on each Quizzes: 10% weight on overall quiz performance. – Two lowest quiz scores will be dropped in calculation of the overall quiz score Myeconlab homework: 10% weight – Two lowest scores will be dropped in calculation of the overall quiz score. Final exam (30% weight). If you do better on the final than on your worst midterm (in percentage terms), the percentage score you receive on the final will replace the score received on your worst midterm.
