Manquer à + objet/personne to miss a person or thing (as in long for) This is the opposite of how we state it in English The subject in the sentence will be the person who is missed, The indirect object is the person who is doing the missing. Use the following COI (indirect object pronouns) me – (by me)nous – (by us) te – (by you) vous – (by you/yall) lui – (by him/by her) leur – (by them) ***Placement of COI is the same*** before the conjugated verb or before the infinitive
