5 WARM FRONT COLD FRONT Short, usually intense storms - (thunderstorms, squalls, tornadoes) They usually pass fairly quickly. Bring a steady drizzle, light rain; a low cloud base, and possibly fog. They may take a day or two to pass.

9 Stationary Front The differences in their temperatures and pressures have almost equalized. Result - usually little wind but a long period of rain
