2 Short history This association was formed in 1992 after a delegation of Romanian Police visited Northumbria Police and witnessed the Coalition Against Crime in Newcastle. On the return to Brasov, the model was copied and implemented here.This association was formed in 1992 after a delegation of Romanian Police visited Northumbria Police and witnessed the Coalition Against Crime in Newcastle. On the return to Brasov, the model was copied and implemented here. Now, after 11 years of activity, a new management board was elected and new members were introduced to the association. Sensibilizarea opiniei publice din tarile candidate asupra integrarii europene si asupra procesului de extindere a Uniunii Europene; 2. Aportul direct la o integrare mai rapida a Romaniei in Uniunea Europeana ; 3. Cresterea transparentei actiunilor Uniunii Europene in Romania. Prioritatile identificate pentru Romania in acest context sunt urmatoarele: - Aducerea informatiei cat mai aproape de interesele si cerintele publicului, atat la nivel local cat si regional; - Informatie specializata pentru interesele si cerintele organizatiilor profesionale; - O mai buna cunoastere si intelegere a aspectelor legate de Uniunea Europeana. CINE POATE SOLICITA FINANTARE: persoane juridice non-profit. Solicitantii pot actiona individual sau in consortiu cu alte organizatii partenere. LIMITE DE BUGET: intre 5.000 - 50.000 Euro/proiect (contributia UE). CONDITII DE FINANTARE - Contributia UE: max. 80% din costurile totale eligibile ale proiectului. - Contributia solicitantului: min. 20% din valoarea totala a proiectului in numerar. - Contributiile in natura nu sunt considerate ca reprezentand co-finantare. DURATA PROIECTULUI: Durata unui proiect nu poate depasi 12 luni.
