3 25 May 2015 3 Introduction DCMS is a system, demanded by HPCL to remain leader in the LPG industry of India. This manual makes the user acquainted with the Domestic Consumer Creation of the DCMS Windows Application.

6 25 May 2015 6 Domestic Consumer Registration The consumer needs to be tagged with a distributor through registration for a new / additional cylinder connection. It is of two types:  Registration – New Connection  Registration – Additional Cyl Connection

7 25 May 2015 Registration – New Connection Click on the ‘+’ sign of Consumer Management >> ‘+’ sign of Domestic Consumer Management >> ‘+’ sign of Registration >> Registration – New Connection

9 25 May 2015 To register a domestic customer with new cylinder connection: Enter relevant data in the input fields. The red fields are mandatory. Select the Type Code as New Connection and Nature Code as Domestic for this customer. Click Save.

11 25 May 2015 You will see the following Pop up Window where you will get the Regn No.:

12 25 May 2015 Details Verification  Check for duplicate entries by clicking on the Duplicate Entries button.  Click on Verification Details and do the necessary verification.  Click Update after each verification.

14 25 May 2015 Allotment List Display Only after a successful verification the consumer name will be displayed in the Allotment List. Click on the ‘+’ sign of Allotment under Domestic Consumer Management. Click on the Generate button against the Consumer No. to generate the Allotment Letter. Click on Print Safety Form to get the print out of the safety Form.

16 25 May 2015 Response To Allotment  Customer needs to respond to the distributor against the allotment letter (for Wait list type distributor). User needs to capture whether the customer has responded within the defined time, mentioned in allotment letter.  Click on Response To Allotment under Allotment.

18 25 May 2015 List of Value Screen Enter the Regn No. or press F9 to search the consumer in an LOV (List of Value) screen. Enter any numeric value in the Search String and click Find. The list will be displayed in a tabular form:

19 25 May 2015  Select the Regn No. and click OK. The value will be displayed in the Regn No. field.  Click Fetch.  Enter required data in the fields and give Approval Remarks.  Click Save. Response To Allotment (Contd)

20 25 May 2015 SV Generation Subscription Voucher Generation is nothing but the New Customer Creation. A subscription voucher is generated on the basis of the Regn No., but before subscription voucher generation, all the verification for that registration should be done and the verification report should be clear / OK / satisfactory. After the subscription voucher is generated, user will take the printout of the generated Subscription Voucher. Click on the ‘+’ sign of SV Generation and go to SV – NC/DBC. Select the SV Type as New Connection, enter the Regn No. and click Fetch. Select regulator and click on Miscellaneous button before saving the subscription voucher.

23 25 May 2015 SV – Generation (Contd) In the Miscellaneous Info – Domestic screen enter the Blue Book No. and click on Add Row button to provide the Regulator Details in the Equipment Info. You also can provide the Personal Info of the consumer in this screen. Click Save The SV is generated successfully with a Consumer No. and Unique Consumer ID. The registration gets completed with a Pending SV for Cash Memo generation which will be discussed in the Order Fulfillment module.

25 25 May 2015 Registration – Additional Cyl Connection  Click on Registration – Additional Cyl Connection.  Enter the Consumer No. and Click Fetch.  Enter required data in the fields if not entered before.  Click Save.

27 25 May 2015 Registration – Additional Cyl Connection (Contd) Generate the allotment letter and print the safety form through Allotment List Display screen. Give approval remarks in the Response To Allotment screen. Generate SV by setting the SV Type to Additional Cylinder Connection in the screen SV – NC/DBC.
