A computer literacy skills program aimed and designed for Information Communication Technology (ICT) teachers Prepares ICT teachers to develop his/her key 21st century learning skills with a focus on technology literacy, critical thinking, and collaboration

Any teacher who: Has the responsibility of teaching students computer skills in a centralized computer lab Want to develop students’ 21st century skills and create a 21st century learning environment. Wants to enhance teaching and learning and keep learners motivated. Wants to turn the results of the school around.

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE? 24 – 34 HOURS 15 – 20 teachers. The structure of training can be arranged. It may take any of the following format: Four consecutive days (preferably) during the school holidays or Four Saturdays, may be consecutive or staggered. 6

After each Module: 1hr of Homework time and “Take- home” activity for the next Module. A handbook is expected to be completed during the training. You need to complete the assignment successfully before you are given a certificate.

What is my Role as a Participant Teacher? Attend all course sessions Be prepared and give your best effort. Take notes and ask questions. Complete all exercises, assigned activities and an action plan. Share your ideas and work. Support, encourage, and respect others. Have fun while learning. Provide daily feedback about the course. 10
