4 Vegetation The vegetation zone of Iraq is desert scrub. Desert scrub: small trees, bushes, and other plants adapted to a dry climate.

5 Climagraph The temperature of Iraq is really hot summers, and cool winters. During the hottest months there is no rain.

7 Politics Jalal Taliban is the current leader of Iraq. whereby the Prime Minister of Iraq is the head of government. Modern Western social movements became possible through education. The executive branch consists of the Presidency Council (one president, two deputy presidents) and a Council of Ministers (one prime minister, two deputy prime ministers, and 34 cabinet ministers). Assyrian Christians of Iraq wanted to vote but were not allowed

8 Iraq’s Messed up Government The government is 1 person rules all. Their economy is bad due to their bad government. They don’t get much food and are undernourished. A new government is established in 2006 On December 15, 2005, Iraqis voted in a nation-wide election for a permanent, 4- year National Assembly.

9 Iraq has a large Percent Unemployed Iraq has an unemployment of 18%. 28% of those ages 15 to 29 are unemployed. Oil accounts for 90% of Iraq's revenue and has gone down in price. Employment has doubled since 2005 and now accounts for nearly 60% of the full- time jobs in Iraq.

10 Iraq’s Overpopulation Iraq has an area of 438,317 sq km (169,235 sq mi). At least 95% percent of population adheres to some form of Islam. Almost all Kurds, approximately 19% of population, are Sunnis, together with about 13% Sunni Arabs.
