12 Republic of Iraq Al-Anbar Investment Commission Al-Anbar Investment Commission (AIC) was established in 2008 in accordance with Investment Law 13 of 2006 in order to:  Promote investment opportunities within the province  Assisting qualified investors in taking full advantage of the investment law and overcoming any challenges. This includes obtaining property for the project and all related permits through the one-stop shop.  Create the investment map for the province

15 Republic of Iraq Al-Anbar Investment Commission Exemptions:  Exemptions from taxes and fees for ten years  Exemptions on imported assets for the investment project  Spare parts imported for the project are also exempt  Projects for hotels, tourist institutions, hospitals, health facilities, rehabilitation centers, and educational and scientific organizations shall receive additional exemptions on import fees for the furniture, furnishings and supplies for the purpose of modernization and renovation once every 4 years
