3. 3 2015 WEPL 80 1 st XIs and 70 2 nd XIs 2016 WEPL 70 teams 80 teams move to County Leagues: 14 1 st XIs and 66 2 nd XIs Top County Division becomes “Tier 4”

4. 4 Mandatory Relegations For all County Leagues The last placed team of the WEPL 2015 Tier 3 Glos/Wilts Div will be placed in 2016 Tier 4, i.e. County Div 1 The last placed team of the WEPL 2015 Tier 4 Glos Div will be placed below Tier 4 in 2016, i.e. County Div 2

5. 5 WEPL Glos Div and GCCL Div 1 Most of the teams in 2015 WEPL Glos Div (8 or 9 of them) will go up to the new WEPL Glos Div at Tier 3. The team that comes last in 2015 WEPL Glos Div will go to GCCL Division 2. Any others, except 10 th place will go to GCCL Division 1. Tier 4. There could be a vacancy in the new Glos Div Tier 3 – the GCCL Champion will then go up.

6. 6 WEPL 2 nd XIs AT THE END OF 2015 SEASON: WEPL will do promotion & relegation as if there was to be no change Top 4 teams in Prem 1 2 nd XI go to new Tier 3, staying in WEPL Rest of Prem 1 2 nd XI go to Tier 4 (i.e. County League Div 1) Prem 2 2 nd XI’s go in a block to a County League Division Glos/Wilts 2 nd XI’s ….ditto…. Glos Div 2 nd XI’s ….ditto…. Each County League determines the best level for each of these blocks of teams

7. 7 WEPL 2 nd XIs – levels in GCCL We have very good evidence that shows the Gloucester Division 2 nd XI teams are mostly at the level of the top half of our current Division 5 / bottom half of Division 4. So that is the right place for them. The 2 nd XIs from higher WEPL Divisions therefore go in at points above that.

10. 10 At the end of 2015 in GCCL we can’t do normal promotion and relegation because we must fit in all the new teams from WEPL. We need to rank all our teams on a single ladder and fill up each new Division using this ordering. The order needs to reward teams that would have been promoted, to place them among the teams in the Division above.

12. 12 2016 Division 1 1 (say) WEPL Glos Div 1 st XIs 9 GCCL Teams (Ranking 1-9 ) Division 2 1 WEPL 1 st XI 2 WEPL 2 nd XI 8 GCCL teams (Nos 10-17) Division 3 5 WEPL 2 nd XIs 5 GCCL teams (Nos 18-22) Division 4 10 GCCL teams (Nos 23-32) Division 5 9 WEPL 2 nd XIs 1 GCCL team (No 33) Division 6 10 GCCL teams (Nos 34-43) Division 7 7 GCCL teams (Nos 44-50) District & CGF winners (Option: have just 6 divisions and move 7 GCCL teams to District or CGF) CGF Division will be part of GCCL in 2015 but from 2016 may be run jointly by West Glos and Chelt & Glos Districts rather than GCCL.

13. 13 WHAT NOW? GCCL will talk with Districts and representatives of the CGF Division to discuss whether we have 70 or 60 teams in GCCL, including or excluding District winners and CGF winners. We also need to consult the teams joining from WEPL about playing regulations and facilities criteria.
