2. Ayah 2:

3. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

4. اَلرَّحْمَان Ar-Rahman. The Exceedingly Compassionate, The Exceedingly Beneficent, The Exceedingly Gracious Ar-Raheem. The Exceedingly Merciful Allah (swt) likes to be called by these names. اَلرَّحِيْم Ayah 3:

5. King of the Day of Judgement Ayah 4: مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ

6. Ayah 5: اِيَّكَ نَعْبُدُ We worship You Alone

7. True worshipper Fears standing in front of Allah (swt) on the Day of Judgement

8. Reward is on deeds done just for Allah

9. Ayah 5: وَ اِيَّكَ نَسْتَعِيْنYou alone we call for help!

10. At times we just need Allah (swt)!

11. اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَ Guide us to the correct way (Ayah 6)

12. From here we start making the actual du’a

13. Remember the prerequisites of a du’a? Know what you are asking for Make sure you really want it Ask from your heart We are learning it

14. What is the Siraat Al Mustaqeem? The straight way? OR The right way ?

15. A straight path is very smooth with no hurdles

16. It may/may not lead to Jannah !

17. You can reach Jannah by

18. Can be difficult to walk on

20. And doing the things we don’t like

21. Do you want to do that for Allah (swt)?

22. Might need to get out of your car and walk

23. Are you willing to say good bye to your comfort for Allah (swt)?

24. There can be a steep climb !

25. Allah (swt) tests people he chooses for Jannah

28. Are you willing to pay the price for Jannah?

29. We are very short sighted

30. Can’t see Jannah from the bottom

31. Can’t see our destination

32. This would have helped

33. It can tire you easily

34. It can be lonely !

35. You need a break You’ll be a social out cast What is the rush

36. Obedience of Allah (swt) is for a life time

37. Does this stop you from obeying Allah (swt)? Life time obedience Way to Jannah

38. Hurdles may stop you

39. Our hurdles in life People Our inner desires Satan

41. Which one leads to Jannah ?

42. Follow the Prophet’s (pbuh) way

43. What do I do now?

44. This is Satan working on you

45. Never turn back

46. You can get hurt !

47. And confuse others too

48. You can stop many others from reaching Jannah

49. If one path is closed find another one

50. There are a lot of roads leading to Jannah !

51. But this is just in optional deeds

53. We have to walk on the Siraat Al- Mustaqeem

55. Exercise Think of a person who you think is really lucky

56. صِرَاطَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ The way of those whom you have blessed

57. They are the lucky ones

58. Is this being lucky?

59. ! Fir’aun had all the blessings

60. Do we want to end up like him?

61. Musa’s (as) life was full of struggle

62. Then what blessing had Allah (swt) given him?

63. True Blessing

64. True blessing is… To live your life according to your manual. The book of Allah (swt)

65. Then who are these lucky people? People who follow Allah’s (swt) book and the prophets’ way. The prophets The truthful The martyrs The righteous

66. Qualities of these lucky people Sincerity to Allah (swt) and His Messengers Adherance to Allah’s (swt) commands Refrain from what He has prohibited

67. Remember the prerequisites of a du’a? Know what you are asking for Make sure you really want it Ask from your heart

68. Do we actually want الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَ

69. This is the only way to Jannah
