22 Other useful calculations Using a selected indexation table or newly created table Indexation of an amount Can also be used for depreciation and appreciation calculations Click for Next In this example: approximate value in 2003 of a $10,000 investment in 1990 in the stock market (NASDAQ based-fund). We can see the peak $92,400 value in 2000 and the value in Jan. 2003 of $29,700. Indexation tables can be yearly, monthly, etc. to increase accuracy in values
