It shall propose measures for environment protection during the building phase and working lifetime of the waste-water treatment plant.

Working out an environmental impact study for the reconstruction of municipal waste-water treatment plant of Velika Gorica is the first step towards the solution of many long-term problems in plant’s management. Taking into account that one of the most important natural resources in the area occupied by the Town of Velika Gorica is a large underground drinking water basin, this should be the way towards ensuring its long-term protection. Working out an environmental impact study for the reconstruction of municipal waste-water treatment plant of Velika Gorica is the first step towards the solution of many long-term problems in plant’s management. Taking into account that one of the most important natural resources in the area occupied by the Town of Velika Gorica is a large underground drinking water basin, this should be the way towards ensuring its long-term protection.
