2 How The iPad Pilot Started  51 Teachers submitted applications to be part of the pilot  6 Teachers where chosen to participate  230 iPads purchased - $193,000 Funding from Enhancing Education through Technology (EETT) and Microsoft K12 Voucher Program  Teacher training provided by Apple Distinguished Teacher

4 Goals of the Pilot  Increase Student Engagement  Improve Student Achievement  Analyze the effectiveness of iPad (tablet) technology as a teaching and learning tool  Develop a tablet-supported curriculum model that can be utilized in other classrooms
