2. In this project students will gather information about the different types of shelters and their importance. They will also visit a construction site to get a first hand knowledge of how a house is constructed- i.e. materials used, people involved. They will also be encouraged to design or make posters of different types of shelters ( both human as well as habitat). The students will also design their dream house with all its rooms.ccc

3. Essential Question Can we survive without our basic needs like food, clothes and shelter? Unit Questions Why do we need shelter? Why do Shelters vary from place to place? Do animals also need shelter? Difference between natural habitats and built houses? Content Questions What is Shelter? What is a Kutcha or a pucca house? Name some animals living in natural habitats?
