2 “The Duck Stampede” When: 12:00pm Sunday May 16 th, 2010 Where: Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project What: Rotary 43 and our Sponsorship Partners will hold a “Duck Race.” Thousands of rubber ducks will be dumped into the Riverwalk via Crane and will race to the finish line about a mile down stream. Why: Fundraising Event

3 2009 Inaugural “Duck Stampede” How do we measure Success? –7500+ Ducks Sold –$32,000 was put back into the community –1000’s came to watch the event live

4 2010: Expectations Bigger and Better –12,000 Ducks Sold –Higher Attendance.... Raise More $$$$$$

5 Where Does the Money Go? Rotary “Dictionary Project” –Every year Rotary provides every 3 rd Grade Student in Pueblo County a Dictionary Rotary 43 Foundation –Any money that is raised above the cost of the dictionary project is put into the Rotary 43 Foundation to be donated at the Foundation’s Discretion... The money stays in our Community
