Business Brigades An 8-day business brigade provides volunteers with the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in micro-finance and small business consulting by working with rural under-resourced community members. Students provide education and administrative assistance to communities & micro-enterprises through workshops conducted during the visits. Students divide into small groups to conduct household & micro- enterprise visits. Each group will tailor the workshops to the level of comprehension for each household and entrepreneur. Students spend the time in between visits planning and preparing the workshops. The workshops and household visits serve to empower the community members while leaving a lasting impact long after the students have left the community.
