2 Aristotle was born in 384 BC in Stagira He was an ancient Greek philosopher At the age of seventeen, he went to Athens to study at Plato’s Academy He opened his own philosophical school called Lyceum Aristotle died in 322 BC

3 Made of four “elements” earth, fire, water, and air. Four qualities to these elements: dryness, hotness, coldness and moistness Fifth element called aither

4 Aristotle studies Physics, Logic, Biology, poetry, theater, music, politics, government and ethnics

5 Scientific method Physics: examined nature of matter, space, time and motion Cosmology: all things fall toward the centre of earth or move around the earth
