2. Apuntes (25.3.14) What is a verb? – An action word. What is an infinitive? – The unconjugated form a of a verb. In English it is the verb with to before it. In Spanish it is a verb that ends in –ar, – er, or –ir. What does it mean to conjugate? – To change the ending of the verb to tell who does the action and when (past, present, future). Regular verbs all follow the same pattern based on their endings. -ar -o-amos -as-áis -a-an -er -o-emos -es-éis -e-en -ir -o-imos -es-ís -e-en
