Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) is the information sharing foundation for the –Command and Control; –Business; and –Intelligence Domains NCES will allow users and information systems to: –Find and access relevant information; –Expose the information they produce for others to discover; –Collaborate; –Distribute data; –Increase performance and reliability of data access, and; –Utilize the enterprise infrastructure for evolving DoD systems to a Service Oriented Architecture. NCES connects people/systems who have information with people/systems who need information
