14. 1 Corinthians 10:31 & Colossians 3:17 “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God... and whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him”

19. “Generally the kind of work God calls you to is work: (a) That you need to do, AND (b) That the world needs to have done. If you really get a kick out of your work, you’re presumably met requirement (a). But if your work is writing cigarette ads, the chances are you’ve missed requirement (b).

20. (a) That you need to do, AND (b) That the world needs to have done. On the other hand, if your work is being a doctor in a leper colony, you have probably met requirement (b). But if you’re bored and depressed by it, the chances are you haven’t met requirement (a), and you probably aren’t helping your patients much either.
