2 Sustainable Energy Research Group SERG builds on over 25 years of sustainable energy research within the School of Engineering in UCC. The principal research areas are: –Bio-energy research-Dr Jerry Murphy –Energy policy and modelling-Dr B Ó’Gallachóir –Wind energy –Dr Eamon McKeogh, Dr Paul Leahy –Energy efficiency-Dr Domnic O’Sullivan –Staff of 24 (PI, Senior Researchers, PhD students, Post Docs, Master Students) –Based mainly in the ERI
