VPA Artistic Expression A 1. 1 Assignment: Analyzing Websites - Visit a total of 5 different professional and personal websites Identify the design techniques incorporated, color theory, aesthetics and visual perception Determine the target audience, and analyze the effectiveness Compare and contrast two similar industries’ websites (such as automotive) How are they similar? How are they different?

6. VPA Artistic Expression A 1.2 Assignment: Prepare an online portfolio Develop three websites for three different industries, organizations or educational institutions. Discuss the intent and purpose of the sites Use multimedia (pictures, flash, video) in designs Analyze the use of colors, fonts, images and design for the intended audience.

Students will work in a team to design a project that meets the needs of automotive executive, maintain communication and respond to requests Project will continue with the following: Presentation of ideas to executive by teams Proper dress and communication Calculation of costs - Labor and professional services Meeting the needs of the clients, response to clients questions and comments. Open and appropriate communication Use of technical skills and workflow
