3  Monday, April 27  (10-12) -3:15-5:30, (rising 9th) 4:15-5:30  Tuesday, April 28 **  (10-12) - 3:15-5:30. (rising 9th) 4:15-5:30  Thursday, April 30  3:15-7:00 (You will be given a time.) **Comp. Cheerleaders stay until 6:45 Tuesday  Squads Posted – April 31 after 4:00 PM

4  Plain white tshirt, shorts, cheer shoes  Hair should be pulled back  Water Bottle  No Jewelry  Nails cut and free of polish  Long nails = no stunting = no score

On your tryout form you will check the boxes next to the squads for which you wish to be considered. You will then tell us whether you would prefer to cheer one season or two seasons. Cheerleaders will be placed according to a combination of their preferences and our needs.

6  Jumps, Stunting, Cheer, Chant, Dance  Tumbling - bonus  Must be able to perform tumbling during season.  Panel of 8 judges  Average scores for final score.  Scores are final. Placements are final.  If you quit a squad then you will no longer be eligible to be in the cheerleading program.

7 Spirit Squads Every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Times TBA. You may miss 4. Competition Cheerleading Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the SPX gym. TBD on times.

8 Competition CampSpirit Camp June 13-14 -Atlanta July 26-28 - Athens -Classic Center Cheerleading camp is mandatory for all cheerleaders. Failure to inform coaches of inability to attend at the time of tryouts WILL result in your dismissal from the squad. There is a question on your tryout form requiring you to let us know of any attendance issues.

9  MUST have a physical on file before June 4.  You may not participate in cheerleading activities or workouts until that physical is on file. No exceptions.  Pius Physicals – May 14 th  Cost - $30.00

10  Fittings on May 5 th  3:15-5:30 Mandatory parent/cheerleader meeting  6:00-7:00 Fees for cheerleading include camp costs and all practice wear for the year. Depending on which squad you join and whether you’ve cheered before, your costs will vary from $175.00 – $500.00. The payments will be split between two FACTS payments - one in June and one in July.
